ELEONES products successfully presented at the Boston Wine Expo 2012
The ELEONES product range was presented successfully at the Boston Wine Expo on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of January 2012 at the World Trade Center in Boston.
Visitors had the chance to taste the ELEONES Early Harvest olive oil, the strongest and rarest of the Greek olive oils, offered in the US market for the first time as well as the ELEONES Extra Virgin Olive Oil used already by top chefs in the New England region.
Mr Argyris Bouras, owner of ELEONES, was able to explain to the wine expert audience of the tradeshow, the similarities between olive oil and wine. They are both made out of fruits and parameters like soil, olive variety and the microclimate of the olive groves can produce a special olive oil like ELEONES just like grapes do with wine. He also had the chance to train the visitors at the differences between “alive” and “dead” olive oil. Visitors also had the chance to compare the superior taste and aroma of the ELEONES olive oil with olive oils from other regions of Greece.
The ELEONES participation at the Boston Wine Expo was coordinated by the cooperator of ELEONES in the New England region Mr Paul Hatziiliades who was the first to believe in the ELEONES product proposal. As the tradeshow proved he was right. The ELEONES team is grateful to him and his family for their support.
Mr Argyris Bouras said after the tradeshow: “it was a great surprise to us to find such a passionate audience at the Boston Wine Expo. We never imagined that the American public would be so well informed about olive oil and such good listeners. They surely gave us the motive to continue what we started and that is to introduce to the American consumer the ELEONES unique and premium quality olive products. I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for their support and promise them that we will return very soon with more unique ELEONES olive products for them.”
